Here's what's new on the redesigned 2019 Ram 1500!

The Ram 1500 was redesigned for the 2019 model year and has been at our dealership for a few months. However, we know summer is a busy time for people and that many are more interested in spending time with friends and family on vacation than coming into the dealership.

If you're now in the truck-buying mood and are looking to update your current Ram 1500 or come over from a Ford F-150, Toyota Tundra, or Chevy Silverado 1500, then we'll get you up to speed on what's new for the 2019 Ram 1500!

Engines

The Ram 1500 just upped its maximum tow ratings for 2019, thanks to an all-new engine. Along with a 5.7L HEMI® V8 that is still available, you can get that same engine but with eTorque technology. Both have 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft torque, but the newest with eTorque has a tow rating of up to 12,750 pounds! This is more than the standard V8 that can tow up to 11,610 pounds.

Bigger Technology

Touchscreens are all the rage, and Ram designers didn't want their pickup to be left behind. Get one of the higher Ram 1500 trims and you can own a vehicle with a massive 12-inch touchscreen that runs the updated Uconnect®4 infotainment system! The touchscreen is the largest in its class, and it is so big that you can even do split-screen settings!

More Interior Space

If you felt like space for items in your previous Ram 1500 was a little lacking you'll love the updates to the 2019 version. There's class-exclusive floor storage, a new center console that can be reconfigured for your needs and even fit a 15-inch laptop, and the Ram bins have grown since the previous generation.

As you can see, the 2019 Ram 1500 got a lot of great updates, and these are just a few of them. To see which Ram 1500 trim is right for your needs and budget, contact us or stop into our dealership this weekend and get out on a test drive. You can even save time by working on the financing application before you arrive.
